The Environmental Services Department provides a 24-hour cleaning and portering service, ensuring a safe, clean, and efficiently operating environment for patients, staff, and visitors around the clock.
Ideal Candidate- Ability to work on a 24 hour, 7 day rotating roster, with regular night shifts.
- Demonstrated knowledge of various healthcare waste streams and infection control principles.
- Previous experience in a healthcare facility or commercial/industrial cleaning role.
- Maintain a safe and clean hospital environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
- Provide efficient portering services to support the delivery of high-quality patient care.
- Work collaboratively with other departments to ensure a smooth operating environment.
