**Project Coordinator Role**

The Project Coordinator plays a pivotal role in ensuring the seamless coordination of dual occupancy project tasks. This includes achieving budgeted contract signings, permits & site starts within required time frames and maximizing customer satisfaction.

This position requires administering domestic building contracts in accordance with the company's contract type and the Domestic Building Contracts Act. Communicating project progress to stakeholders & customers and providing administrative support to the construction team are also key responsibilities.

Some key tasks include:

  • Liaising internally and with customers on their builds.
  • Managing the pre-site process including Town Planning to ensure deadlines are met and communicated to all parties.
  • Escalating potential issues with recommendations for resolution.

Key requirements for this role include being qualified in a building field and having solid experience in the domestic or medium density building industry with exposure to administration or construction of commercial housing projects.

Alongside knowledge of the Town planning process, land/building subdivision, knowledge of Building Regulations, domestic building contracts (AS/ HIA/ MBA and associated terminology), you'll have the ability to work unsupervised, excellent communication skills, problem-solving abilities, conflict resolution skills, organisational skills, and priority setting.
