Bethanie, Western Australia's leading not for profit aged care and retirement living provider has been warmly welcoming and caring for seniors for many years. They strive to lead the change in the way Australians think about ageing.

We are currently seeking experienced food service staff at a friendly and welcoming aged-care home to fill a variety of shifts on a casual basis.

**About the Role**

- Ensuring responsible work practices of food preparation, kitchen cleanliness and hygiene standards.
- Ensuring required ingredients are available daily.
- Assisting in preparation, apportioning and serving of meals.
- Maintaining all utensils, equipment, work benches and general surrounds in a clean and safe condition.
- Collecting and washing pots, pans, crockery and cutlery.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**

- Willingness to uphold the vision, mission and values of the organisation.
- Passion for working as a food service assistant ideally in an aged care, hospital or similar environment.
- Have a 'can do' attitude and a genuine compassion for residents.
- Reliable with a strong work ethic.
- Ability to work both independently and as part of a team.
- A current police clearance or willingness to get one.
