
Customer Service Ambassador

The ideal candidate for this role will have exceptional communication skills, a strong work ethic, and the ability to adapt to diverse customer types.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to customer inquiries in a timely and accurate manner, providing clear and concise solutions to their issues.
- Update key accounts with regular order status reports, ensuring transparency and keeping stakeholders informed.
- Manage the qualified lead process, converting targeted leads into active opportunities that drive business growth.
- Identify new business opportunities and collaborate with relevant team members to close deals, leveraging relationships and expertise to achieve success.
- Work closely with sales teams as required, fostering a collaborative environment that drives results.
- Review Daily Booking Reports for accuracy and highlight issues to finance and logistics departments, ensuring seamless operations.
- Attend to customer queries on outstanding orders, proactively communicating rescheduled delivery information and maintaining a positive customer experience.
- Provide accurate information to logistics, stores, and production teams to ensure timely dispatch, meeting customer expectations.
- Complete paperwork, including purchase requisitions and credit requests, ensuring compliance and efficiency.
- Participate in monthly hub meetings to discuss sales performance and customer service strategy, driving continuous improvement.
- Undertake additional duties as required by the Sales Operations Manager, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt.
Requirements:
- Secondary education level, with a trade background advantageous.
- Previous sales or customer service experience, with a proven track record of success.
- Ability to adapt to diverse customer types, with strong organisational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks.
- Confident and effective communication skills, with a strong emphasis on teamwork and collaboration.
