Drill Machinist Position

We are seeking a skilled Drill Machinist to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity for individuals who are passionate about heavy machinery and have a keen eye for detail.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Maintaining, repairing, and servicing drill equipment to ensure optimal performance.
  • Diagnosing mechanical issues and implementing effective solutions to minimize downtime.
  • Collaborating with the maintenance team to ensure efficient operation of drilling equipment.
  • Performing preventative maintenance tasks and inspections to extend equipment lifespan.
  • Aiding in the implementation of safety protocols and company guidelines at all times.

Requirements:

  • A trade qualification in Heavy Diesel Mechanic or similar.
  • Proven experience as a Drill Fitter, with a strong background in drilling equipment maintenance.
  • Exceptional mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
  • Able to work effectively in a team environment and communicate clearly.
  • A commitment to workplace safety and adherence to safety regulations.
  • Flexibility to work various rosters, including night shifts and weekends.
  • A valid driver's license.
