Key Insurance Underwriting Role

We are seeking an experienced insurance underwriter to join our team in the financial lines division.

  • Underwrite new and renewal business in accordance with underwriting guidelines and industry standards
  • Develop a pipeline of new business and manage existing relationships to maximize value
  • Maintain accurate files and records to contribute to management reporting and timely service and policy issuance
  • Assist in the implementation of business plans in accordance with Financial Lines and company direction
  • Work closely with senior underwriters to develop knowledge and experience within Financial Lines

Required Skills:

  • Commercial underwriting experience
  • Understanding of key business drivers in the Financial Lines insurance segment
  • Client-orientated with the ability to build and maintain successful relationships
  • Relevant experience in the insurance industry or equivalent
  • Awareness of developments and trends in the commercial sector having insurance implications
