Motivated Leader

Role Overview:

This is a challenging leadership role where you will be responsible for leading a small team of professionals. As a Team Leader, you will oversee the Counselling and Family Services practice staff that provides support and specialist group programs to individuals, couples, children and families.

The successful candidate will have experience in human service industry management and will possess excellent communication skills. You will work closely with other managers to ensure effective delivery and coordination of services.

This is a permanent full-time role based at our South West Sydney Hub but will involve traveling across sites. The ideal candidate will have relevant tertiary qualifications in counselling/case management and group facilitation and/or management related fields.

About the Role:
  • Lead and motivate a small team of professionals in the provision of counselling and family services
  • Work closely with other managers to ensure effective delivery and coordination of services
  • Support site Managers in the implementation of Community Services strategies and services within policy and procedures
  • Ensure continuous improvement in service delivery and operations
Key Requirements:

To be considered for this role, you will need to demonstrate:

  • Relevant tertiary qualifications in counselling/case management and group facilitation and/or management related fields
  • Proven leadership and team development skills
  • Experience in human service industry management
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Demonstrated experience relating to diverse groups
