The Reliability Engineer plays a crucial role in optimizing maintenance strategies to reduce asset downtime and ensure assets are maintained efficiently within the Renewables portfolio.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate collaboration between Engineering, Maintenance, and Asset Services experts to ensure reliability analyses inform maintenance strategies.
- Support Renewables teams in developing and prioritizing optimized maintenance strategies for the Renewables portfolio.
- Load optimized maintenance strategies into the Computerized Maintenance Management System (CMMS) and convert them into effective routines.
- Update existing planned maintenance tasks in CMMS and Document Management System.
- Develop and deploy maintenance support information for Renewables teams.
- Ensure optimized Planned Maintenance Tasks have necessary documentation stored within the Document Management System.
- Develop tools to track KPIs suitable for use with Visual Management boards.
- Coordinate Failure Mode and Effect Analysis (FMEA) and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) for plant failures.
Requirements
- Bachelor qualification in Electrical/Mechanical Engineering or related field is preferred.
- Experience utilizing Reliability Engineering techniques and Asset Management principles is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated experience leading reliability improvement initiatives and developing maintenance documentation in power stations or similar heavy industry is essential.
- Understanding of SAP as a CMMS is highly desirable.
- Familiarity with platforms such as Power BI, OSI PI, Reliability, RCA, and Condition Monitoring software is desirable.
