Young Peoples Mental Health Specialist

We are seeking a highly skilled and empathetic Mental Health Professional to join our team.
The role involves working with young people aged 12-18 years and their families, where there is a risk of homelessness and emerging mental health concerns.
Key responsibilities include:
- Developing and delivering groups as an early intervention measure, providing education and support to young people to enhance their strengths and resilience.
- Managing a caseload of clients with mild to moderate mental health presentations, providing counseling and therapeutic interventions through various modalities.
- Providing referral and advocacy support to young people and their families.
- Fostering collaborative relationships with relevant stakeholders.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of a Certificate IV in Mental Health or equivalent qualification.
- Experience working with young people with emerging mental health concerns.
- A valid Working with Children Check and valid Driver's Licence.
