As a key member of our culinary team, the Demi Chef plays a vital role in delivering exceptional dining experiences for our guests.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain the highest standards of food presentation and taste to consistently meet guest expectations.
  • Ensure that all kitchen areas are clean and well-maintained to adhere to health and safety protocols.
  • Lead your team by providing coaching and feedback to drive performance improvement.
  • Take ownership of your workstation, effectively managing supplies, equipment, and waste to optimize efficiency.
  • Contribute to washing up and other kitchen duties as required to ensure seamless service delivery.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III in Commercial Cookery or equivalent qualification to ensure technical competence.
  • Current Safe Food Handling Certification to guarantee knowledge and application of safe food practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, with a warm and welcoming demeanor to foster positive relationships with colleagues and guests.
  • Ability to problem-solve and turn challenges into opportunities to continually improve processes and outcomes.
  • Flexibility to work night, weekend, and holiday shifts to accommodate changing operational needs.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience as a chef, with supervisory experience desirable to demonstrate leadership capabilities.
