We are seeking a highly skilled Aged Care Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team at Respect Aged Care. This is a fulfilling opportunity to provide safe, competent and contemporary clinical nursing care to residents within the scope of practice as determined by the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA).

The role involves providing comprehensive histories from residents and/or family members to identify care needs through participating in resident admissions and ongoing assessments.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Maintaining accurate documentation that reflects care delivery
  • Completing ACFI assessments and contributing to the maximization of income
  • Assisting in implementing, contributing to, and evaluating resident care plans as directed by your supervisor
  • Administering medications to residents and ensuring correct ordering, storage, and documentation procedures in accordance with the organisation's policies and procedures

To be considered for this position, candidates must satisfy the legislative requirements of Aged Care Worker Screening to ensure suitability to work in the aged care industry.

  • A minimum Diploma of Nursing or equivalent qualification
  • Current registration with the Australian Health Practitioner Regulation Agency (AHPRA)

  • Current National Police Certificate (or ability to acquire)
