Job Description

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced engineering leader to join our team as Head of Engineering. As a key member of our executive leadership team, you will be responsible for leading the engineering function and working closely with our CTO to refine and implement our technical strategy.

As Head of Engineering, you will lead the development and execution of a technology strategy that aligns with our business objectives, in partnership with the Chief Architect and other executives. You will collaborate with the CTO on critical architectural decisions, ensuring scalability, security, and performance.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute a technology strategy that aligns with company goals.
  • Collaborate with CTO on critical architectural decisions.

Product & Customer Focus:

  • Work closely with design and customer success teams to ensure technology solutions deliver maximum value to customers.
  • Lead the engineering team in prioritizing and delivering features that align with commercial goals and enhance the customer experience.

Team Leadership & Development:

  • Lead, mentor, and engineer high-performance teams, fostering a culture that reflects company values.
  • Spearhead recruitment efforts to attract and retain top engineering talent, building a world-class engineering team.

Operational Excellence:

  • Oversee end-to-end execution of product roadmap, ensuring timely and high-quality delivery.
  • Establish and monitor key engineering metrics to measure employee happiness, productivity, quality, and team performance.

Innovation & Growth:

  • Stay ahead of industry trends and emerging technologies, identifying opportunities for innovation that drive business growth.
  • Foster a culture of experimentation and continuous learning within the engineering team, encouraging innovation and improvement.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a Head of Engineering role, preferably within a technology-driven startup environment.
  • Demonstrated success in leading engineering teams to develop customer-focused products that drive commercial success.
  • Strong technical background with experience in scaling systems including large-scale production environments.
