Product Leadership Role

The successful candidate will hold a senior leadership position and be responsible for the overall product management strategy, overseeing the development, optimization, and distribution of BNK's products. They will work closely with the Chief Operating Officer to ensure alignment with business objectives and market opportunities.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Developing and executing a comprehensive product strategy that drives growth, profitability, and customer satisfaction.
  • Leading cross-functional teams to design, develop, price, and position products aligned with customer needs and market trends.
  • Driving innovation through new product features, digital capabilities, and strategic partnerships.
  • Managing product performance metrics and analytics to inform enhancement, ROI, and contribution to business growth.
  • Overseeing compliance with regulatory requirements and ensuring adherence to Design and Distribution Obligations (DDO) framework.
  • Building and maintaining relationships with key stakeholders, including broker groups, aggregator partners, and customers.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 10 years' experience in banking or financial services with senior leadership experience in product management.
  • Deep knowledge of Australian retail and commercial banking products.
  • Strong track record in product innovation, design, development, and lifecycle management.
  • Experience in managing DDO compliance, including TMD development, product governance, and distributor oversight.
  • Excellent commercial acumen with P&L responsibility.
  • Tertiary qualifications in finance, economics, law, or other relevant disciplines (desirable).
