MyVenue are one of the most exciting high growth tech companies we have partnered with We are looking for a high profile, product leader to own their product vision, delivery, and technical execution while they scale and expand.

Location: Adelaide – we are running a national search however, you MUST be available to relocate to Adelaide as key executives and staff are based in MyVenue's Lot 14 Headquarters.

The Role As MyVenue scale, they\'re seeking a Chief Product Officer (CPO) to take ownership of product vision, delivery, and technical execution. Working in close collaboration with the CEO, CTO and MyVenue\'s key investor - Greater Sum Ventures (GSV), the Chief Product Officer will be pivotal in shaping MyVenue\'s product strategy and technical direction, while embedding maturity, efficiency, and scale into the operation.

This is both a strategic and hands-on leadership role, responsible for aligning product and engineering with deployment and support, building delivery discipline, and ensuring our platforms scale with the business. You will chair the Product Council and lead product delivery from the ground up — ensuring readiness, quality, and execution across all releases, features, and technical improvements.

Key Responsibilities

• Working closely with the CEO & CTO to lead the end-to-end product vision & roadmap
• Chair the Product Council
• Own and lead the product release process including documentation & release notes
• Oversee MyVenue\'s LMS platform, "myUniversity", with new modules and courses as well as ongoing module maintenance
• Build the product function
• Together with the CTO align product and engineering functions to deliver at scale
• Establish strong delivery capabilities (project management, business analysis, Quality Assurance, software release engineering)
• Drive maturity and rigour in technical processes, documentation, and execution
• Analyse and mitigate product risks
• Address technical debt and uplift practices and quality
• Champion a culture of innovation, efficiency, and delivery excellence
• Own and lead Jira Ticket review and acceptance
• Together with the Product Council, own and lead prioritisation of Jira Tickets including new features, bug resolution, new integrations, new product
• Own and lead QA Testing including regression, automated & load testing, smoke testing

• Proven product and technical leader with experience scaling high-growth SaaS technology businesses (ideally global).
• Strong technical/engineering background with a strategic growth mindset.
• Gravitas and authority — able to influence, inspire, and drive outcomes.
• Personable communicator; decisive, with the ability to focus on the critical from the noise.
• Thrives in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
• A genuine sports fan with enthusiasm for the industry.
• Willing to travel internationally (primarily the US) when required
