Job Overview

The Operations Director is responsible for overseeing the daily operations of a large-scale organization.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain current operational procedures, establishing relationships with internal stakeholders and external customers.
  • Accountable for achieving operational targets including safety management, productivity, labour recovery and staff wellbeing.
  • Manage group planning, financial metrics, and performance indicators.
  • Ensure all operational requirements are successfully met and support teams to achieve strategic objectives.
  • Focus on customer engagement and relationship-building abilities both internally and externally.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualification in Business, Engineering or associated field.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in a senior leadership position within a similar industry exposure.
  • Demonstrated experience within heavy industry technology in either a consulting or project management capacity.
  • Ability to lead multi-functional teams to achieve outcomes in a short time frame.
  • Well-developed business acumen and critical thinking skills with the ability to successfully manage budgets and analyse data.
  • Advance communication skills written, verbal and interpersonal across multiple levels.
  • Highly developed organisational skills with the ability to successfully manage fluctuating workloads and prioritise accordingly and a high level of attention to detail.
