Prospero Teaching is a renowned education recruitment agency offering exceptional opportunities for experienced Early Childhood Educators to join our esteemed team. This exciting role is available at one of our prestigious Early Learning Centres in Sydney - Brookvale (North Shore), catering to the needs of children from babies to preschoolers.
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated individual to provide high-quality early childhood education and care, working collaboratively with our experienced Qualified Early Childhood Teachers and Educators. As an Exceeding Service, we pride ourselves on offering a supportive work environment, excellent professional development opportunities, and a permanent position with a maximum 38 hours a week.
The successful candidate will possess AQF Certificate III in Children's Services or an equivalent qualification and have proven experience in a similar role. They should also demonstrate excellent verbal and written communication skills, understanding of DET Regulations, National Quality Standards, Frameworks, and Early Years Learning Framework, as well as knowledge of Child Safe Standards and Child Protection.
A competitive salary reflecting your skills and experience is offered, including above award wages and discounted childcare fees. You will also enjoy flexible working hours, summer holiday closure dates, and a monthly RDO for full-time staff members. Our centre boasts extensive natural resources and equipment, rotating roster shifts between 7:30 am and 6 pm, and a low turnover of staff.
To succeed in this role, you must be able to attend monthly staff meetings, maintain and uphold Workplace Health and Safety, privacy, and confidentiality. You should also have enthusiasm towards personal training and learning opportunities, ability to work a variety of shifts between 7:00 am and 6:00 pm, Monday to Friday, and current First Aid/CPR and Anaphylaxis/Asthma qualifications.
