About Us

We are a dynamic research team at the ADF Malaria and Infectious Disease Institute (ADFMIDI), working together to perform parasitological and pharmacological investigations of new and standard antimalarials to prevent and treat drug resistant malaria.

Job Description

We are seeking a dedicated and reliable person to undertake laboratory and office-based work, including antimalarial drug analysis using liquid chromatography mass spectrometry (LCMS).

You will be responsible for maintaining procedures and documentation for quality assurance programs to fulfill National Association of Testing Authorities (NATA) accreditation requirements for drug analysis.

Additionally, you will undertake and coordinate animal technicians in in vivo tolerability, pharmacokinetics and efficacy assessment of new antimalarial candidates using animal models such as mice in accordance with the Australian code for the care and use of animals for scientific purposes.
