Regional Business Manager Role

This role involves leading a customer base and managing relationships and business performance within an assigned territory. The ideal candidate can be home based in the Central Territory, which includes OH, KY, and IN.

  • The Regional Business Manager will act as a primary contact to identify prospective distributors and channel management teams, developing professional relationships to understand customer needs and suggesting products and/or services that meet those needs.
  • The manager will conduct business development activities for distribution and channel management teams within defined customer segments to support the business strategy.
  • Key responsibilities include developing and promoting new customer contact leads for the sales business development team, proactively supporting and developing prospective projects with assigned customers, and presenting to the sales business development team.
  • The Regional Business Manager will develop personal customer relationships with prospective accounts to influence opportunities, create customer presentations for specific needs, and call on established accounts and develop new accounts.
  • The manager will work with accounts to implement sales and marketing programs to increase sales and market penetration for all product lines, analyze sales and market data to develop and implement strategies to drive growth in sales volume and market share within the territory, forecast distributor programs, budgets, and sales volumes, engage and coordinate with external channel partners and cross-functionally with internal marketing, operations, and pricing to achieve objectives, and maintain full accountability and ownership of distributor customers.
  • The Regional Business Manager will communicate and manage factory sales and marketing programs with customers.
">Required Skills and Qualifications">
  • A High School Diploma or GED is required, along with 3+ years of experience in sales and/or operations management and 3+ years of Microsoft Office Suite experience (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
  • A valid driver's license is also required, and the ability to travel domestically 60% of the time is necessary.
">Preferred Qualifications">
  • An Associates or Bachelor's Degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, Marketing, or a related field is preferred, as well as experience in the HVAC or construction industry or any industrial environment.
  • Proven success in a Sales role with demonstrated growth and sales volume is desired, along with experience with SAP and/or Salesforce.
  • Strong experience across multiple sales and distribution channels, customer service orientation, ability to listen and respond to customer needs, and ability to identify new processes to work faster and more efficiently are also beneficial.
