The role of an engine field technician requires a combination of technical skills and customer service expertise.

Job Description:

As a field service technician, you will be responsible for diagnosing and repairing engine issues on residential sites. This involves working closely with customers to understand their needs and providing solutions in a professional manner.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Analyze complex problems using specialized tools and procedures to identify necessary parts and tools for repairs.
  • Perform preventative maintenance on engines and related components according to documented schedules and standards.
  • Evaluate and escalate unresolved issues to experienced technicians or supervisors.
  • Maintain accurate documentation, including service worksheets, timesheets, warranty claims, and quality documents.
Requirements:
  • Apprentice-trained Engine Technician (Cert III) or equivalent qualification.
  • Intermediate-level experience in workshop or field service settings.
  • Knowledge of and/or experience with engine products.
  • Heavy vehicle experience is preferred.
