Position Summary:

Our organization is seeking a dedicated Mental Health Professional to engage with clients, carers and families in collaboration with referrers, other service providers and stakeholders.

Responsibilities:

  1. Engage with clients, carers and families to foster trust and coordinate comprehensive support.
  2. Deliver therapeutic interventions and provide discipline specific evidence based practice as required.
  3. Assist in discipline specific clinical supervision and contribute to ongoing professional development and peer training activities.
  4. Travel within designated areas to service outreach clinics and participate in community partnerships.

Requirements:

  • Registered or eligible for registration as a Social Worker, Psychologist or Occupational Therapist with mental health training and at least 2-3 years of experience.
  • Strong advocacy and negotiation skills, with the ability to evaluate the effectiveness of clinical work against client outcomes.
  • Capacity to work across rural communities, with high interpersonal, observational, written and verbal communication skills.
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check, Working with Children Check and National Police Check.
  • Current unrestricted NSW drivers licence and own vehicle.
