Job Opportunity

The Tax Manager will oversee and optimize tax outcomes within a defined framework.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Planning and managing taxation compliance across multiple jurisdictions
  • Providing timely and accurate advice on corporate transactions and policies
  • Reviewing major contracts for tax implications with a focus on risk mitigation
  • Implementing and overseeing a Tax Governance Framework
  • Managing relationships with Revenue Offices, auditors, and tax advisors
  • Partnering with stakeholders to embed tax awareness and support commercial decision making
  • Guiding and developing a team of direct reports while fostering a culture of continuous improvement
Requirements:
  • Significant experience in corporate tax roles with strong knowledge of Australian taxation law
  • Exposure to international taxation considerations including permanent establishments and transfer pricing
  • Sound understanding of Tax Governance and Risk Management principles
  • Ability to partner with business leaders on tax impacts of contracts and decisions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to present complex tax concepts clearly
  • Experience leading and developing a team with a collaborative leadership style
  • CA/CPA professional membership mandatory, Graduate Diploma in Taxation highly regarded
