Geospatial Engineer Role Overview

The Geospatial Engineer plays a pivotal role in ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our operations by establishing precise survey control points for tunneling activities.

  • Maintain TBM guidance system accuracy during operation
  • Conduct position checks, laser direction checks, and troubleshoot issues with the guidance system
  • Conduct as-built record surveys and produce reports for TBM navigation and ring-built information

Key responsibilities include monitoring in-tunnel progress, providing timely reports according to project requirements, collaborating closely with construction and engineering teams, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and safety protocols.

Responsibilities
  • Establish precise survey control points for tunneling activities

Requirements
  • Proven experience in tunnel surveying or related construction surveying roles
  • Diploma or degree in surveying/engineering
  • Proficiency in 12D model & synergy
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and communication skills
  • Excellent analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Commitment to safe work practices and quality standards
