Speech Therapist Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled Speech Therapist to join our team in Canberra, where you will work with clients of diverse age groups. Your role will involve conducting assessments, creating treatment plans, and providing therapy sessions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' speech, language, and swallowing capabilities.
  • Develop tailored therapy plans based on assessment outcomes.
  • Deliver effective therapy sessions to enhance communication skills and swallowing functions.
  • Document client progress and maintain thorough records.
  • Educate and support clients and their families regarding therapy goals and techniques.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Requirements:

  • A degree in Speech Pathology.
  • Experience in assessing and treating speech, language, and swallowing disorders.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team environment.
  • Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
  • A genuine desire to improve clients' quality of life.
