Lease Manager for Casual Retailers

We are seeking a seasoned Lease Manager to oversee casual retail leasing operations. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for securing suitable clients that meet our presentation standards and income expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Negotiate leases with casual retailers, taking into account budget constraints, tenancy mix, availability, and merchandise goals.
  • Maintain current market knowledge through regular visits to competitor centres.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with retailers and casual lessees.
  • Provide expert market assessments and advice to clients on casual rental rates.
  • Ensure all administrative requirements are met, including agreements, payments, and insurance.
  • Conduct regular reporting, including weekly, monthly, quarterly, and annual reviews.
  • Maintain accurate records of all conversations and agreements.
  • Cold canvass for new business opportunities to expand our portfolio.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in retail leasing, preferably in shopping centre environments.
  • Holding a Victorian Real Estate Licence or Agents Representative certification.
  • Strong negotiation skills combined with commercial acumen.
  • Excellent relationship-building abilities.
  • Thorough understanding of retail trends and market conditions.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Strong organisational abilities and attention to detail.
  • Able to work independently and manage multiple priorities effectively.
