About Music Licensing

We're seeking a skilled Licensing Coordinator to join our dynamic team. In this role, you'll work closely with the entire Licensing department to provide creative input and support in achieving business goals.

The successful candidate will be immersed in the music and entertainment industries, collaborating with various departments, artists, managers, and licensing partners to secure licensing opportunities for Sony owned repertoire.

This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth of our music business while developing your skills and expertise in music licensing.

Job Responsibilities
  • Assist with creative input on all music briefs and communicate final playlists to licensing partners.
  • Work closely with Legal & Business Affairs local teams and international licensing affiliates to ensure proper rights information is documented in our licensing database.
  • Learn the intricacies of music licensing and build knowledge to handle licensing requests independently.
  • Research, collect, and organize information on upcoming projects, schedules, and industry trends in the entertainment space.
  • Support the development of marketing communications and music delivery to licensing partners and international Sync teams.
  • Maintain and update team documents and databases.
