Meat Management Opportunity

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated individual to join our team as a Meat Manager.

The successful applicant will be given the opportunity to lead our meat department, with the flexibility to tailor our service and products offering to meet the specific needs of our customers within the local area.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Fresh Food Retail Expertise: Manage and maintain high standards of fresh food retail knowledge.
  • Team Leadership: Lead and manage staff in the meat department.
  • Cost Control and Ordering: Order and control costs effectively.
  • Profit Analysis: Analyse and manage gross profit calculations.
  • Staff Rostering: Accurately roster staff.
  • Communication: Possess excellent communication skills to liaise with staff and management.
  • Merchandising: Display a flair for merchandising.
  • Leadership and Delegation: Demonstrate strong leadership and delegation skills.
  • Staff Development: Coach, train and performance manage staff.
  • Safety Standards: Commitment to occupational health and safety standards.

Requirements:

  • Experience: Prior experience in Meat Management is essential.
  • Prioritization: Passion for fresh food within the grocery retail industry.
