We are currently looking for a Meat Buyer to join our Procurement Team. The key focus of the role will be around the procurement of domestic meat for processing through our multi-species tray packing facility at Arndell Park.

Reporting to the Procurement Manager Meat & Livestock, you will engage with both internal and external stakeholders to ensure the business has the raw materials available to meet customer requirements both in terms of quality and timelines. The role will also see you building upon the vast network of domestic and export protein contacts around Australia.

**About you**

We're looking for a motivated buyer with strong commercial and financial awareness. This role would suit someone who possesses excellent negotiating skills with the ability to identify and drive opportunities
- Minimum 3 years' experience in a similar role
- Strategic thinking and planning skills
- Sound organisation skills
- High level interpersonal skills
- Previous FMCG industry experience (desirable)
- AUSMEAT Meat specification course (desirable)
