About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced electrical tradesperson to join our Distribution team based at our Narellan Field Service Centre.

Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to work on overhead network and associated equipment, performing construction and maintenance activities as well as emergency restoration work when required.

Your role will include:

  • All facets of overhead and substation construction and maintenance activities as well as emergency restoration work with a vision to expand into underground.
  • After-hours fault & emergency response work when required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • To be a qualified, experienced Line worker/ Distribution Powerline Worker.
  • To have an excellent understanding of construction and maintenance practices involving the Distribution network.
  • Personal commitment to working safely and good knowledge of OH&S policies and procedures covering field operations.
  • Good personal time management skills and organising ability.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with ability to liaise effectively with staff, customers, and members of the public.
  • To hold a current drivers' licence.
  • Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team.
