Senior Windows System Administrator

Compas is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Windows System Administrator to join our team. This role will be responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining critical systems across virtual, desktop, and cloud infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Build, deploy, and manage virtual desktop SOEs using scripting tools (e.g. PowerShell).
  • Administer Microsoft Configuration Manager for application packaging and deployment.
  • Manage secure end-user computing environments, including Active Directory and Group Policy.
  • Maintain systems through patching, updates, and troubleshooting across Windows environments.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience with Microsoft server and desktop environments, including MECM, Exchange, and WSUS.
  • Demonstrated expertise in PowerShell scripting and deployment methodologies.
  • Strong knowledge of secure system administration practices within a high-security setting.
  • Experience optimizing and supporting virtual desktop environments, ideally with Citrix technologies.

Benefits:

  • This is a 12-month contract with two 12-month extension options.
  • Candidates must have a valid TSPV clearance to perform this role.
