Job Details

The System Administrator will be responsible for a range of activities contributing to the design, build, test and operation of ICT systems and network services to support the delivery of modern mobility solutions for senior government officials. Project activities under the project include expanding the existing network, computing systems, desktop delivery solutions, complex gateway services, cloud services, and secure mobility solutions.

Responsibilities

  • Provide Technical expertise in building, deploying and managing virtual desktop SOEs. (Scripting, Batch, PowerShell) specialists, users and managers.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Configuration manager for application packaging and deployment.
  • Administer secured End User Computing Environment (Active Directory Management, Group Policy) procedures and standards.
  • Update environment with software upgrades. (patching security updates – essential eight, usage reports)
  • Proficient in deployment methodologies and network switch configuration.
  • Develop and implement strategies for optimisation, scalability of Virtual environment.
  • Integrate with MFA solutions
  • Troubleshoot and resolve Windows issues
  • Preferable - Support and Monitor Virtual Windows Desktop environment. (Citrix NetScaler)

Technical Skills

  • Demonstrated experience and qualifications in Microsoft server and desktop technologies (including Exchange, WSUS, MECM) Experience in Microsoft PowerShell scripting.
