Sports Coach Position

At Tyndale, we strive to provide a comprehensive education that extends beyond the classroom. We are currently seeking a Sports Coach to join our team and contribute to the growth and development of our students through sport.

The ideal candidate will possess a genuine passion for sport and coaching, with the ability to build positive relationships with students and teachers alike. A key aspect of this role is the ability to work collaboratively with staff members to deliver meaningful sporting experiences and opportunities for our students.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan, organize and deliver sports programs and activities for students;
  • Develop and implement strategies to promote physical activity and wellness among students;
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with students, teachers and other stakeholders;
  • Contribute to the development of a positive and inclusive school culture;
  • Maintain accurate records and reports as required.

Requirements:

  • Passion for sport and coaching;
  • Ability to build positive relationships with students and teachers;
  • Availability on Tuesdays and Wednesdays for interschool sport and training;
  • Capacity to take direction and feedback to improve practice;
  • Enthusiasm to work in collaboration with staff to bring about meaningful sporting opportunities and experiences.

Desirable Qualifications:

  • Coaching qualifications;
  • First Aid Certificate;
  • Availability on Thursdays and Fridays for Gala days.
