Job Title: Director of Sports Marketing Strategy

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced professional to lead our sports marketing strategy. As Director of Sports Marketing Strategy, you will be responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive marketing plan that drives business growth and revenue.

About the Role:
  • Develop and execute a global sports marketing strategy that aligns with our business objectives.
  • Manage athlete, partnership, grassroots, and influencer recruitment, negotiations, onboarding, servicing, and events.
  • Integrate Australia sports marketing assets into the GTM process, influencing athlete selection for campaigns and activations.
  • Assist in executing seeding products, inputs & forecasts orders for athletes, partnerships, and influencers.
  • Manage external communication with athletes, agents, partners, and influencers.
Key Responsibilities:
  1. Build strong relationships with internal stakeholders, including cross-functional teams, agency partners, internal clients, editors, and influencers.
  2. Develop and maintain a deep understanding of the Australian sports landscape, market trends, and competitor activity.
  3. Drive innovation and creativity in marketing strategies and programs.
  4. Cultivate a culture of collaboration, open communication, and continuous improvement.
  5. Maintain accurate records of all activities, including budgeting, forecasting, and performance metrics.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or equivalent.
  • 5+ years of marketing experience in the fast-paced consumer-driven sports industry, with sponsorship expertise.
  • Established relationships at all levels in sports marketing, including athletes, coaches, and organizations.
