
Mechatronics Systems Developer

We are seeking an experienced automation engineer to join our team in the design and development of automated manufacturing systems.
The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, implementing and maintaining complex automation systems that meet or exceed our quality and performance standards.
Key responsibilities include:
- Designing and developing control panels, electrical systems and mechanical components
- Implementing and testing PLC code, robotics and other automation technologies
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to integrate automation systems into existing production processes
- Ensuring compliance with relevant safety regulations and industry standards
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related field
- Minimum 2 years of experience in automation engineering, preferably in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Strong understanding of PLC programming languages (e.g. Ladder Logic, Function Block)
- Experience with robotic welding, CNC machining and/or material handling systems
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Preferred Qualifications:
- Process integration and electromechanical systems experience
- Experience with National Instruments software and hardware
- Electrical schematic CAD experience using EPlan
- C#, .NET, Python and/or SQL experience
Additional Requirements:
- Must be willing to work extended hours and/or weekends as needed
