Delivering Support Services for Children with Developmental Delays

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate professional to provide early childhood intervention services. The successful candidate will work closely with children and their families to support them in reaching their full potential.

About the Role
  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate supports that reflect strengths-based and family-centered approaches.
  • Deliver supports to children and families that lead to positive outcomes, utilizing a transdisciplinary approach.
  • Assess and communicate the child's development and ongoing progress.
  • Facilitate a team around the child that promotes participation in family, community, and cultural activities.
  • Ensure that supports are clearly documented, coordinated, and communicated to families and internal stakeholders.
  • Meet the responsibilities of your role, including contributions to the team and meeting key performance indicators.

Your Everyday

  • Attend appointments with families to conduct assessments and develop individualized plans.
  • Provide therapy and support services to children and families in various settings.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate care and achieve optimal outcomes.
  • Engage with families to promote their involvement in decision-making and goal-setting processes.

Requirements

  • AHPRA registration, SPA registration, current Teachers Registration with the relevant State Education Authority, or Bachelor's Degree qualification in Social Work and full membership of the Australian Association of Social Workers.

  • Excellent listening and communication skills, with a positive approach to risk.
