Electrical Supervisor

Job Description

The Electrical Supervisor is a key role in our organization, responsible for overseeing Electricians and ensuring electrical work is carried out safely and efficiently. This position supports the Ampol Future Fuels project in Lytton, working closely with various stakeholders to deliver high-quality results.

Key Responsibilities
  • Estimate time and materials needed for projects
  • Maintain accurate records and documentation
  • Supervise Electricians and provide guidance as needed
  • Ensure strict safety compliance at all times
  • Perform electrician tasks as required
  • Plan, schedule, and implement electrical projects effectively
  • Determine project requirements, set realistic deadlines, estimate costs, and coordinate with other departments or contractors
  • Manage and oversee Electricians and Electrical Technicians
  • Monitor progress, provide guidance, and address any issues or concerns that arise
  • Conduct regular safety inspections and identify potential hazards
  • Maintain electrical work quality by conducting regular inspections and troubleshooting issues
  • Oversee routine maintenance tasks and electrical system repairs
  • Identify and resolve problems quickly to minimize downtime
Requirements
  • Current QLD Electrical Mechanic or Fitter Mechanic licence
  • Valid Electrical Trade Certification
  • EHHA certificate refreshed within the past five years
  • Strong leadership skills and effective communication
  • Previous experience as an Electrical Supervisor
  • In-depth knowledge of the electrical industry and state and federal codes and safety regulations
What We're Looking For

We are seeking an ideal candidate who possesses strong leadership skills, effective communication, and active listening abilities. The successful applicant will have a current QLD Electrical Mechanic or Fitter Mechanic licence, valid Electrical Trade Certification, and EHHA certificate refreshed within the past five years.
