About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled quantitative professional to join our team of experts in the field of actuarial consulting and strategic analytics. As a leading firm in Australia and New Zealand, we offer innovative solutions and practical advice to our clients across various industries.

Our consultants assist clients with services including pricing, customer & product insights, automation, risk & capital allocation, financial management, compliance & regulation and data science and analytics. We cover a diverse range of skills including; actuarial, analytics, technology, management consulting and support staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Delivering projects for banking clients requiring expertise in financial modeling and analysis.
  • Working across the full spectrum of services for banking and finance, leveraging technical skills and knowledge to drive business growth.

Requirements:

  • 3-5 years' experience as a quant analyst with a strong background in mathematical sciences or actuarial studies.
  • Proficient in Excel with advanced skills in statistical and database software (R/Python/SAS/SQL).
  • Strong understanding of financial products, risk management, and key drivers of return and risk.
  • Experience working on projects related to APRA risk management, capital, and liquidity requirements is desirable.
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex ideas effectively.
  • Strong analytical skills, with the ability to analyze large datasets and develop comprehensive reports.
