Commercial Dispute Resolution Lawyer Opportunity

This is an exciting opportunity to join our Commercial Dispute Resolution Team as a skilled and ambitious Lawyer. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of post-qualification experience (PQE) and a strong interest in commercial law.

The role involves assisting solicitors with the conduct of matters across different jurisdictions, including drafting court documents, attending client conferences, contested hearings and mediations, preparing briefs to Counsel and Court Books, and undertaking legal research.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Assisting solicitors with the conduct of matters across different jurisdictions;
  • Drafting court documents such as Affidavits, Statements of Claim and Defences;
  • Attending client conferences, contested hearings and mediations;
  • Preparing and collating briefs to Counsel and Court Books;
  • Preparing draft advices to clients;
  • Undertaking legal research;

Requirements:

  • Desire to specialise in Dispute Resolution;
  • Commercial approach to work;
  • Robust and resilient problem solver who is prepared to develop into a strong advocate for clients;
  • Excellent technical skills;
