Educational Access Facilitator

As a Student Support Specialist, you will play a vital role in ensuring students with disabilities have equal access to educational opportunities.
You will provide tailored support and reasonable adjustments to enable students to reach their full potential in vocational education and training programs. This may include providing coaching, mentoring, and assisting faculties to identify and address student needs.
To achieve this, you will work closely with faculty members, administration staff, and other stakeholders to develop and implement strategies that promote student retention and completion rates.
Your administrative tasks will involve maintaining accurate records, confidentiality, and integrity of student information. You must possess excellent written and verbal communication skills, as well as the ability to consult, liaise, and negotiate effectively with students from diverse backgrounds.
In addition to your administrative duties, you will be expected to assist with the implementation of inclusive learning practices, including the use of Assistive Technologies and Inclusive Learning Tools.
