Job Overview

We are seeking a strategic program leader to develop and implement programs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families.

  • This is a key role within our organization, responsible for driving the development and delivery of high-level strategic analysis and advice to inform executive decision-making.
  • You will create strategic program frameworks, submissions, and evaluation models to deliver government initiatives.
  • Your expertise in contemporary commissioning and program frameworks will be critical in informing your work.
  • You will build and maintain partnerships with stakeholders across government and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
  • This role requires strong analytical and advisory skills, as well as excellent communication and partnership-building skills.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop high-level strategic analysis and advice to inform executive decision-making.
  • Create strategic program frameworks, submissions, and evaluation models to deliver government initiatives.
  • Research and advise on contemporary commissioning and program frameworks, based on evidence and best practice.
  • Build and maintain partnerships with stakeholders across government and the Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander community.
  • Manage the development and implementation of programs for Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander families, meeting deadlines and performance requirements.
  • Analyze program performance and refine program frameworks through stakeholder negotiation.
