Residential Care Professional

Our Residential Village is seeking a skilled and compassionate Resident Support Professional to play a vital role in enhancing the wellbeing and lifestyle of our residents.

This casual position offers a unique opportunity to make a positive impact on the lives of others while developing your skills and experience in aged care.

Key Responsibilities
  • Encourage resident participation in activities and services that promote their physical, emotional and social wellbeing
  • Design, deliver and monitor lifestyle services and activities to meet individual needs and preferences
  • Develop and implement innovative events and activities that engage residents and the wider community
  • Provide direct care to residents during activities such as bus trips and meal service
  • Support colleagues and maintain a positive team environment
  • Work safely and follow all policies and procedures to protect yourself, colleagues and residents
Requirements
  • A genuine passion for providing high quality care to the elderly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Certificate III or Cert IV in Leisure and Health or Individual Support
  • Ability to establish and maintain professional relationships with residents and their families
  • Reliable and committed team player
  • Commitment to respecting the values, customs and preferences of residents
