Key Responsibilities
  • Encourage resident participation in individual and group activities, promoting choice and engagement.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to design, deliver, and monitor group and individual lifestyle services and activities, fostering a supportive team environment.
  • Develop innovative events and lifestyle activities that involve the wider community, volunteers, and residents' family and friends, where possible.
  • Provide direct resident care during activities such as bus trips, personal hygiene, and toileting assistance.
  • Maintain professional relationships with residents, their families, and colleagues.
Requirements
  • A compassionate nature and genuine passion for delivering high-quality care to vulnerable individuals.
  • Effective communication skills and a positive attitude, essential for building strong relationships.
  • Certificate III or IV in Leisure and Health, Individual Support, or similar qualifications are highly desirable.
  • The ability to work collaboratively and maintain confidentiality is crucial.
