Job Description:

We are seeking a highly skilled Coordinator to join our team in the Operations Control Centre (OCC).

This is a critical role at the heart of our service, ensuring that the right resources are in the right place at the right time so patients receive safe and timely care.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Plan and coordinate resources to deliver care where it's needed.
  • Track active missions and respond calmly when plans change.
  • Balance priorities when demand is high, making timely decisions with the best available information.
  • Serve as the first point of contact for operational issues, solving and escalating when needed.
  • Communicate clearly with teams and stakeholders to ensure everyone stays on the same page.
  • Maintain accurate operational records, provide structured handovers, and contribute to reporting.
  • Support safe, efficient, and compliant operations while identifying opportunities for improvement.

You will be trained in our systems and processes, but you must be ready to learn, adapt, and work closely with others to maintain productivity.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To succeed in this role, you will need:

  • Experience in an operational setting, such as aviation, logistics, emergency services, or similar.
  • Strong prioritisation and problem-solving skills, particularly under pressure.
  • Clear and confident communication skills with a wide range of stakeholders.
  • A willingness to work shifts as part of a 24/7 roster.
  • Proficiency with basic computer systems, including Microsoft Office.
  • A valid NSW Driver's Licence (or equivalent).
  • A Working With Children Check and Category B vaccinations (can be completed upon appointment).
