Job Overview

The CFD Mechanical Design Engineer role is a high-profile position responsible for driving mechanical engineering services design, construction, and implementation of enterprise data centers that meet global quality and performance standards.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Evaluate cooling systems using in-depth knowledge of computational fluid dynamics (CFD) principles to inform data-driven decisions aligned with industry best practices.
  • Drive successful project delivery while maintaining the highest standards of quality, efficiency, and customer satisfaction.
  • Develop innovative solutions to reduce power usage effectiveness (PUE), water consumption, and capital expenditures (CAPEX) while improving overall operational efficiency.
  • Create comprehensive mechanical documentation, including narratives, drawings, specifications, and other relevant materials.
  • Drive process improvements across the organization by identifying areas for enhancement and implementing effective solutions.
Requirements:
  • 5+ years of experience with CFD modeling software, such as Sigma Six or HELYX.
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in mechanical engineering.
  • Thorough understanding and application of mechanical engineering principles, theories, and concepts.
