Job Title: Senior Mechanical Engineer for Data Centers

Key Job Responsibilities:
  • Utilize advanced CFD knowledge to drive successful project delivery and maintain performance standards.
  • Develop mechanical documentation including narratives, drawings, specifications, etc.
  • Drive process improvements across the organization through innovation and effective teamwork.
  • Perform building energy use calculations for determining capacity and type of cooling system required.
  • Coordinate with construction and commissioning teams to answer requests for information.

This role involves working directly with design engineering stakeholders, construction, operations, and commissioning teams within the APAC region. The ideal candidate will drive mechanical engineering services design, construction, and implementation of enterprise data centers that meet global quality and performance standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • 5 years experience with CFD modeling software such as Sigma Six or HELYX.
  • Bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering.
  • Thorough understanding of principals, theories, and concepts in mechanical engineering.
  • 8 years experience in designing HVAC systems.

Preferred qualifications include an engineer in training or chartered engineer designation, programming skills in Python and AI tools, deep understanding of data center mechanical systems, and knowledge of industry standards such as ASHRAE, NFPA, AIRAH, etc.
