We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Mechanical Project Lead to join our team as an Associate or Principal Mechanical Engineer. Your Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage multiple projects of varying complexity and size, ensuring timely delivery and high-quality technical documentation.
  • Contribute to business development initiatives, providing technical expertise and innovation in the design and procurement of projects.
  • Collaborate with talented professionals on major programs across Australia, including upgrades of water treatment plants and desalination facilities.
  • Apply relevant legislation, industry standards, and guidelines to ensure compliance and quality.
  • Undertake liaison with project stakeholders, including clients and vendors, to achieve project goals.
  • Develop and maintain technical reports, proposals, and other documentation to present complex information effectively.

About You:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering or equivalent, with CPEng accreditation.
  • Relevant consulting experience in the Water industry, with technical competence across various Water and Wastewater Treatment/Process disciplines.
  • Ability to prepare or assist in the production of technical reports, utilizing modeling software, analytics techniques, and conducting detailed design and equipment selection.
  • Familiarity with Mass Balance, Design basis, Equipment Sizing, PFD, P&ID, FDs, CHAIR, HAZOP methodologies, and safety in design practices and processes.
  • Competence in identifying risks and implementing mitigation measures for medium to large-scale projects.
