Job Summary
The Senior Safety Assurance Lead will be responsible for managing and delivering system safety and RAM assurance services to clients. This role requires a strong understanding of safety-critical systems, particularly in the rail domain, as well as experience in planning and executing projects.
Responsibilities
- Tendering, Planning, and Executing Projects: The successful candidate will lead the tendering process, plan and execute projects efficiently, and ensure that deliverables meet client expectations.
- Leading Teams of Consultants: As a senior leader, you will guide multiple project teams on system safety or RAM processes, providing guidance and expertise to ensure successful project outcomes.
- Business Development: You will contribute to business growth by identifying opportunities for new or follow-on work, fostering good relationships with existing and potential clients, and articulating the value of system safety and RAM assurance.
- Developing Yourself and Supporting Others: We encourage continuous learning and professional development. You will support your colleagues in developing their skills and expertise.
Requirements
- Degree in Electrical/Electro-Mechanical Engineering: A degree in electrical/electro-mechanical engineering or a similar technical discipline is required.
- MSc Degree or Professional Certifications: An MSc degree or professional certifications are advantageous.
- 12+ Years of System Safety and/or RAM Assurance Experience: The ideal candidate will have at least 12 years of experience in system safety and/or RAM assurance, with a proven track record of delivering safe and available solutions.
- Experience Interpreting and Applying Relevant Systems, Safety, and Reliability Engineering Processes: You should have experience interpreting and applying relevant systems, safety, and reliability engineering processes, standards, and best practices.
- 10+ Years of Experience Using DOORS/DOORS Next or Other Hazard Log Management Tools: Experience using DOORS/DOORS Next or other hazard log management tools is essential.
- 10+ Years of Experience in the Rail Industry or Equivalent Highly Regulated Industry: The successful candidate will have at least 10 years of experience in the rail industry or equivalent highly regulated industry.
Salary Range: AU$120,000 - AU$160,000 per annum
