About the RoleJohn Holland's Infrastructure division is currently constructing complex projects in Australia. We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineering Manager to join our pre-contracts team in the Water/Wastewater treatment department.
Key Responsibilities- Lead and direct the Electrical Engineering function, including Design, Digital Engineering, Temporary Works, Construction Phase Services, and Systems Engineering and Assurance.
- Ensure project deliverables comply with project requirements, support the construction program, meet stakeholder needs, and maintain a focus on safety, quality, environment, stakeholders, community, and time.
- Facilitate internal interfaces between Design and Construction Teams, and manage external interfaces with key stakeholders.
- Identify and incorporate construction issues into project documentation, and ensure engineering requirements are observed in construction methodology planning.
- Tertiary qualification in Electrical Engineering.
- Experience in multidiscipline engineering, specialising in design, engineering, and construction.
- Management of technical teams in the delivery of design and engineering solutions for bids and projects.
- Experience in process plants, including water treatment, oil & gas, mineral processing, etc.
- Financial management skills, including planning and managing budgets.
- Stakeholder management, with a focus on relationship building, influencing, communication, and negotiation skills.
- Qualitative and Quantitative design risk identification, assessment, controls, and management.
- Demonstrated ability to manage work and performance of teams.
