Early Childhood Educator

We are seeking an Early Childhood Educator to join our team on a permanent full time basis. The successful candidate will work with our Toddler class, bringing creativity, imagination and a sound understanding of the development of 2-3 year olds.

About the Role:

The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and implementing our exceeding educational program in consultation with the team. They will create an engaging and challenging learning environment for children, form excellent relationships with families and staff, and maintain children's developmental records.

About Us:

We are a privately owned childcare centre catering for children aged 20 months to 6 years. Our curriculum values play based learning, promoting critical thinking, curiosity, problem solving and calculated risks. We have a strong sense of community and work closely together to meet educational outcomes.

Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will require:

  • A Diploma or Certificate 3 in Early Childhood Education
  • Current First Aid Certificate, Asthma and Anaphylaxis training
  • Strong working knowledge of the National Quality Framework and Early Years Learning Framework
  • Passion, enthusiasm and a strong commitment to high-quality care
  • Ability to attend staff meetings and reflect on individual and team practices
  • Highly developed written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Demonstrated computer skills
  • A current Working with Children Check number
