Early Childhood Education and Care Leader

This role involves leading a team of educators to provide high-quality early childhood education and care for children. The leader will be responsible for planning and implementing educational programs, supervising and guiding educators, observing and documenting children's learning and development, building strong relationships with families, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Plan engaging, age-appropriate educational programs aligned with the Early Years Learning Framework.
  • Supervise and guide educators to provide a nurturing, safe environment for toddlers.
  • Observe and document children's learning and development, informing curriculum planning.
  • Build strong relationships with families, supporting each child's individual needs.
  • Ensure compliance with relevant regulations and policies.

Requirements:

  • Certificate III or Diploma required.
  • Minimum 2 years' experience working with toddlers in an early childhood setting preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead and mentor educators.
  • Strong understanding of child development and ability to plan engaging educational programs.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, committed to building positive relationships with families.
  • Current First Aid, CPR, Anaphylaxis and Asthma qualifications.
  • Working with Children Check and National Police Check required.
