About the Opportunity

We are seeking a Senior Associate/AVP, Financial Crime Compliance Officer to join our organization in Sydney. The successful candidate will be responsible for monitoring and reporting suspicious transactions, conducting risk assessments, and implementing control measures to prevent financial crimes.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and report suspicious transactions using advanced analytical tools and techniques
  • Conduct risk assessments to identify potential vulnerabilities and implement control measures
  • Develop and maintain relationships with internal stakeholders to ensure effective communication and collaboration
  • Stay up-to-date with regulatory requirements and industry developments to ensure compliance

Requirements:

  • Minimum 3 years of experience in financial crime compliance or a related field
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with internal stakeholders
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks
